Comparison review
The Xperia Z5 has a score of 77.6, which is a little bit better than Galaxy J7 Prime 2's score of 75.3. Xperia Z5's construction is a bit lighter and just a little thinner than Galaxy J7 Prime 2. Both devices in this review come with Android operating system, but Xperia Z5 has an older 5.1 version and Galaxy J7 Prime 2 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Xperia Z5 has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2, and although they both have 8 processing cores and a 3 GB RAM memory, the Xperia Z5 also has an extra GPU. The Xperia Z5 counts with a brighter display than Galaxy J7 Prime 2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the display.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 has a bit bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Xperia Z5, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. Sony Xperia Z5 captures much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2, because it has a lot better (4K) video definition, a bigger aperture, a back-facing camera with much more MP and a way larger back-facing camera sensor.
The Galaxy J7 Prime 2 counts with just a bit better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a 14% greater battery size.
