The LG G5 has a score of 76.1, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy J7 Refine's 72.7 overall score. Both phones in this review use the same Android 8.0 Oreo OS, so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect. Even though LG G5 is way older than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Refine, it's construction is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter.
The LG G5 counts with a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy J7 Refine, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with more RAM memory. The LG G5 has a way better screen than Galaxy J7 Refine, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much greater number of pixels per screen inch and a much better resolution of 1440 x 2560px.
