The LG V30S ThinQ has an overall score of 82.5, which is better than Galaxy J7 Refine's global score of 72.7. The LG V30S ThinQ construction is lighter and somewhat thinner than Galaxy J7 Refine, although both of them were only released 4 months apart. Both devices in this review use the same Android 8.0 Oreo OS (operating system).

The LG V30S ThinQ has a lot better screen than Galaxy J7 Refine, because it has a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2880, a bit bigger screen and a much higher pixel count per inch in the screen. LG V30S ThinQ features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy J7 Refine, because it has a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal memory capacity.

LG V30S ThinQ has a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy J7 Refine, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the LG V30S ThinQ also has more RAM memory. LG V30S ThinQ has a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy J7 Refine, because although it has a smaller camera sensor taking worse quality images, it also counts with a more mega-pixels camera, a bigger camera aperture to capture better low light photos and a way better 3840x2160 video resolution.

LG V30S ThinQ counts with a battery life that is very similar to the battery lifetime in Samsung Galaxy J7 Refine.
