Comparison review
The Galaxy M30 is much better than the Galaxy J7 Refine, having a score of 82.4 against 72.7. Galaxy M30's construction is a bit lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Galaxy J7 Refine, although they were released with only 8 months difference. These phones use Android OS, but the Galaxy M30 has 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy J7 Refine has Android 8.0 Oreo, giving you a couple additional features and performance improvements.
The Galaxy M30 has a better looking display than Galaxy J7 Refine, because it has a larger screen, more pixels per inch of display and a way better resolution of 1080 x 2280px. Samsung Galaxy M30 has much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy J7 Refine, because it has more internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy M30 has a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy J7 Refine, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Samsung Galaxy M30 also has more RAM memory. The Galaxy M30 counts with a way better battery duration than Galaxy J7 Refine, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
