Xperia XA2 Plus is a little bit better than the Galaxy J7 Refine, having a 78.6 score against 72.7. Both devices in this review have the same Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. The Xperia XA2 Plus design is somewhat thicker and heavier than Galaxy J7 Refine. The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus features just a little better processing power than Galaxy J7 Refine, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus also has more RAM.
Xperia XA2 Plus features a brighter screen than Galaxy J7 Refine, because it has a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2160px, a quite bigger screen and a much greater screen pixel density. The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus takes much better photos and videos than Galaxy J7 Refine, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for low light photos and videos, it also counts with a lot bigger back camera sensor shooting way higher quality pictures and videos, a lot better video quality and a back camera with a lot better resolution.
Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy J7 Refine, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has 32 GB more internal storage. Xperia XA2 Plus counts with just a bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy J7 Refine, because it has an 8% larger battery size.
