Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is better than Galaxy J7 Refine, with an 81.2 score against 72.7. Even though the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and the Galaxy J7 Refine were only released 9 months apart, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 design is a bit heavier but also somewhat thinner. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy J7 Refine, because it has a quite bigger screen, a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a much greater number of pixels per inch in the display.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy J7 Refine, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 captures slightly better photographs and videos than Galaxy J7 Refine, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light captures and a back-facing camera with a worse 12 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a higher image and video quality and a way higher 3840x2160 video definition.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features much more memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy J7 Refine, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a bit superior battery performance than Galaxy J7 Refine, because it has a 3% larger battery size.
