Comparison review
The Google Pixel 3a is a bit better than the Galaxy J7 Star, with a global score of 78.8 against 73.1. The Google Pixel 3a is a newer phone, and it is also somewhat lighter and a little thinner than the Galaxy J7 Star. These devices use Android OS, but Google Pixel 3a has the previous 11 version and Galaxy J7 Star has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Google Pixel 3a features a better screen than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a little bit larger screen, a way better 1080 x 2220 resolution and a much higher screen density. Galaxy J7 Star counts with a superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 400 GB.
The Google Pixel 3a counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Google Pixel 3a also has a greater amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy J7 Star has a little better battery performance than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity.
The Google Pixel 3a takes a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low-light images and a worse 12.2 mega pixels resolution camera, it also counts with a lot better video resolution and a bigger sensor providing a better image quality.
Although Google Pixel 3a is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy J7 Star. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Google Pixel 3a, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Galaxy J7 Star, giving up some features and specs.
