Comparison review
HTC One M9 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, having a 77.7 score against 73.1. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but HTC One M9 has older 5.0 version and Samsung Galaxy J7 Star has Android 9.0 Pie. The HTC One M9 is a older and thicker cellphone than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, but HTC was able to make it somewhat lighter anyway.
The HTC One M9 features a lot better looking display than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher 1920 x 1080 resolution and a lot higher number of pixels per inch in the screen. HTC One M9 features a better CPU than Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the HTC One M9 also has a 64-bit CPU, a graphics processing unit and more RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Star has a better memory for games and applications than HTC One M9, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 400 GB. The Galaxy J7 Star features longer battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 3300mAh battery size.
HTC One M9 captures much better videos and photos than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a lot smaller diafragm aperture, it also counts with a much larger sensor taking way higher quality photographs and videos, a lot better (4K) video resolution and a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
Although HTC One M9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy J7 Star. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy HTC One M9, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy J7 Star, giving up some specifications.
