Comparison review
The HTC U11 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, getting a score of 77.6 against 73.1. Despite of the fact that the HTC U11 is older than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, it's construction is just a little lighter and a little bit thinner. HTC U11 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have the same number of cores, the HTC U11 also has a larger amount of RAM.
HTC U11 has a much better looking screen than Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have a same size display, the HTC U11 also has a much better display density and a way better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. HTC U11 has a little bit better memory for apps and games than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has an external memory card slot that allows 272 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory capacity.
HTC U11 shoots clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a camera with lesser megapixels resolution, and they both have a same size camera aperture, the HTC U11 also counts with a larger camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a lot higher video definition.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Star features just a bit better battery duration than HTC U11, because it has a 3300mAh battery size.
Although HTC U11 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy J7 Star. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the HTC U11, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy J7 Star, resigning some specs and features.
