Huawei Mate 10 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, having a global score of 78.9 against 73.1. Although Huawei Mate 10 and Samsung Galaxy J7 Star were released only a few months apart, Huawei Mate 10's body is a little heavier but also just a little thinner than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 10 has 10 version and Samsung Galaxy J7 Star has Android 9.0 Pie.

Huawei Mate 10 features a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate 10 also has 2 GB more RAM. The Huawei Mate 10 has a much better looking screen than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a little bit bigger display, a way higher count of pixels per inch in the display and a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px.

The Huawei Mate 10 features a greater storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB against 400 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate 10 captures a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a less mega pixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a way higher 3840x2160 video quality and a bigger diafragm aperture for better images and video in low-light environments.

The Huawei Mate 10 counts with superior battery duration than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a 21 percent larger battery size.

Although Huawei Mate 10 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy J7 Star. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 10, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy J7 Star, resigning some features and specs.
