Huawei Mate 20 has an overall score of 79.5, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star's general score of 73.1. The Huawei Mate 20 body is a bit thinner but just a bit heavier than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and both were released only a few months apart. Both of these phones use the same Android 9.0 Pie OS.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with a much more vibrant display than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels, more pixels per inch of screen and a bigger display. The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit faster CPU than Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 20 also has more RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 20 features a bit more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate 20 features a little bit better camera than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for shooting photographs and videos in low light environments and a worse resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a lot bigger back camera sensor and a much better 3840x2160 video definition.
The Huawei Mate 20 has superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3300mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy J7 Star. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 20, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy J7 Star, giving up a couple features and specifications.
