Comparison review

The Huawei Mate 8 has a general score of 77.4, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy J7 Star's general score of 73.1. Huawei Mate 8 is a noticeably older and a bit heavier phone than the Galaxy J7 Star, but Huawei was able to build it just a little thinner anyway. Huawei Mate 8 has a more vivid display than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a much better 1080 x 1920 resolution, more pixels per inch in the display and a little bit larger display.

The Huawei Mate 8 counts with just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a higher amount of RAM. Huawei Mate 8 counts with a much better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits 272 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.

The Huawei Mate 8 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for taking photographs and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Huawei Mate 8 also counts with a back camera with more megapixels and better video frame rates.

Huawei Mate 8 counts with better battery duration than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a 21% greater battery size.

Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy J7 Star. If you want to save some money, you can get the Galaxy J7 Star, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
