The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a much better looking display than Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has a much higher screen density and a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2560. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a little bit better storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.

The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Huawei Mate 9 Pro takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a camera with a worse resolution and a way tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low-light images, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a bigger sensor which gives a better image and video quality.

The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with better battery life than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a 21 percent greater battery size.

Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 9 Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, resigning a couple features and specs.
