Comparison review
LG Q8 has a global score of 77.2, which is slightly better than Galaxy J7 Star's 73.1 general score. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but LG Q8 has the older 7.0 Nougat version while Galaxy J7 Star has Android 9.0 Pie. Even though LG Q8 is older than Galaxy J7 Star, it's construction is somewhat lighter and just a little thinner.
LG Q8 counts with just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has 4 less cpu cores , it also counts with a higher amount of RAM. LG Q8 has an incredibly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a lot more pixels per inch in the display.
LG Q8 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for low-light photos and video, it also counts with a camera with more mega-pixels, a much higher video resolution and a bigger back camera sensor.
LG Q8 features a superior storage to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have the same internal memory, the LG Q8 also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy J7 Star counts with just a bit better battery lifetime than LG Q8, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity.
