The Motorola Edge (2024) has a global score of 78.5, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star's score of 73.1. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but Motorola Edge (2024) has the older 14 version while Samsung Galaxy J7 Star has Android 9.0 Pie version. Motorola Edge (2024)'s design is incredibly newer, a little lighter and a bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star.

The Motorola Edge (2024) has an incredibly better screen than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a better screen pixels density, a much better 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a bigger screen. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Star has a way better hardware performance than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.

Motorola Edge (2024) features a very superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a better camera than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light captures and video, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a way better 50 MP resolution back-facing camera and a much larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.

Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a much longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3300mAh.

Although Motorola Edge (2024) is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy J7 Star. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Galaxy J7 Star, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
