Motorola Edge 40 Neo is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, getting a general score of 77 against 73.1. Motorola Edge 40 Neo is a much newer phone, and it is also just a little bit lighter and a bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola Edge 40 Neo has the older 13 version and Samsung Galaxy J7 Star has Android 9.0 Pie version.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Star has a much more powerful processing unit than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Motorola Edge 40 Neo has a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a lot greater pixels count per inch in the screen, a larger screen and a way better resolution of 1080 x 2400.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo has just a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo features a very superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a 52% bigger battery size.
