OnePlus 8 Pro has an overall score of 77.2, which is slightly better than the Galaxy J7 Star's score of 73.1. Even though OnePlus 8 Pro is just a little heavier than Galaxy J7 Star, it's just a bit thinner and also newer. The OnePlus 8 Pro features a superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the OnePlus 8 Pro also has more RAM memory.
The OnePlus 8 Pro features a much better looking display than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a much better resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels, a lot more pixels per inch in the display and a bigger screen. OnePlus 8 Pro has a greater camera than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a much bigger sensor taking way higher quality videos and photos, a much more mega-pixels back facing camera and a much higher (4K) video resolution.
The OnePlus 8 Pro has a bit bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The OnePlus 8 Pro features a superior battery life than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a 37 percent larger battery capacity.
Although OnePlus 8 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy J7 Star. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the OnePlus 8 Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, giving up some features and specifications.
