OnePlus 8 UW is a bit better than the Galaxy J7 Star, having a general score of 75.9 against 73.1. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the OnePlus 8 UW has an older 10 version and Galaxy J7 Star has Android 9.0 Pie version. OnePlus 8 UW is a newer phone, and it is also a little thinner and just a little bit lighter than the Galaxy J7 Star.
The OnePlus 8 UW features a superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have 8 cores, the OnePlus 8 UW also has more RAM memory. The OnePlus 8 UW has a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a much higher screen pixels density, a lot better 1080 x 2400px resolution and a bigger screen.
The OnePlus 8 UW shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a much more MP back-facing camera, a lot bigger sensor and a much higher 3840x2160 video definition. OnePlus 8 UW features slightly more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory.
OnePlus 8 UW has superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a 30 percent bigger battery size.
Although OnePlus 8 UW is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy J7 Star. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy OnePlus 8 UW, else you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy J7 Star, resigning a couple features and specs.
