Galaxy A16 5G has a global score of 76.2, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy J7 Star's 73.1 overall score. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but the Galaxy A16 5G has 14 version while Galaxy J7 Star has Android 9.0 Pie. The Galaxy A16 5G construction is a little bit heavier but a little thinner than the Galaxy J7 Star.
The Galaxy A16 5G features a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a way higher 1080 x 2340 resolution, a higher pixel number per screen inch and a larger screen. Samsung Galaxy A16 5G counts with a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1000 GB and 96 GB more internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Star counts with a much better performing processor than Galaxy A16 5G, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Galaxy A16 5G has a superior battery life than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a 5000mAh battery size against 3300mAh. Galaxy A16 5G counts with a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, it also counts with a camera in the back with a way higher 50 megapixels resolution.
Although Galaxy A16 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy J7 Star.
