Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a little bit better than Galaxy J7 Star, with a overall score of 76.3 against 73.1. These phones have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Alpha has the previous 4.4.4 version while Galaxy J7 Star has Android 9.0 Pie version. Samsung Galaxy Alpha's body is notably thinner and extremely lighter than Galaxy J7 Star.

So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Alpha, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, letting go some features and specs.
