Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S10e has an overall score of 86.3, which is better than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star's 73.1 general score. Even when the Samsung Galaxy S10e and Samsung Galaxy J7 Star were released only a couple months apart, the Samsung Galaxy S10e is lighter and a little thinner. The Samsung Galaxy S10e has a brighter display than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a much better resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels, a lot greater display density and a bit bigger display.

The Samsung Galaxy S10e counts with a much better memory for applications and games than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy S10e has a greater hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy S10e also has 4 GB more RAM memory.

The Samsung Galaxy S10e has a better camera than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a camera in the back with less megapixels, it also counts with a larger sensor capturing higher quality photos and videos, a lot better 3840x2160 video quality and a bigger camera aperture to capture better photos and video in low-light situations.

The Galaxy J7 Star counts with just a bit better battery life than Galaxy S10e, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity.

Although Galaxy S10e is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy J7 Star. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Galaxy S10e, else you can save some money and get the Galaxy J7 Star, resigning some features and specs.
