Comparison review

The Galaxy S5 has a score of 80.8, which is better than the Galaxy J7 Star's 73.1 overall score. Both phones we are comparing include Android operating system, but Galaxy S5 has the older 4.4.2 version while Galaxy J7 Star has Android 9.0 Pie. Galaxy S5's body is a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter than Galaxy J7 Star, although it was released many years before.

Galaxy S5 features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a GPU and a greater amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy S5 has an incredibly better display than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way better 1920 x 1080 resolution and way more pixels per inch in the display.

The Galaxy S5 takes a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a way smaller diafragm aperture, it also counts with a bigger sensor taking higher quality videos and photos, a back-facing camera with more megapixels and a way better 3840x2160 video resolution.

Galaxy J7 Star counts with a greater storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S5, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory, the Galaxy J7 Star also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. The Galaxy J7 Star features longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has an 18 percent greater battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy S5 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
