Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a global score of 78.1, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star's 73.1 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is an way older phone than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, but Samsung made it lighter and just a little bit thinner. Both phones we compare here use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has the previous 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy J7 Star has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Galaxy S5 Plus features an incredibly better screen than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better count of pixels per inch of display and a lot better 1920 x 1080px resolution. The Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has less CPU cores , and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.
The Galaxy S5 Plus has a slightly better camera than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a way smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low-light images and videos, it also counts with a better 16 MP resolution camera in the back, a way higher 3840x2160 video quality and a bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Star has a much bigger storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 16 GB more internal storage capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 400 GB. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Star counts with longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has an 18 percent bigger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy J7 Star. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, letting go a couple features and specs.
