Comparison review
Galaxy S6 Active is better than the Galaxy J7 Star, having an 80.9 score against 73.1. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S6 Active has 5.0 version and Galaxy J7 Star has Android 9.0 Pie version. Galaxy S6 Active's design is a lot lighter but just a little thicker than the Galaxy J7 Star.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also has an extra GPU, a greater amount of RAM and a 64-bit CPU. Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a much better display than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a much better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a lot more pixels per screen inch.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Star has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a lower 13 mega-pixels resolution back camera, a much worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a tinier back-facing camera sensor taking less light and washed colors, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light photos and videos.
The Galaxy J7 Star has much more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. Both of them have equal internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has just a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy J7 Star. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy J7 Star, letting go a couple specs and features.
