Galaxy S8 has a score of 81.7, which is much better than the Galaxy J7 Star's 73.1 overall score. Galaxy S8 is an older cellphone than the Galaxy J7 Star, but Samsung managed to make it just a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter anyway. Galaxy S8 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S8 also has a larger amount of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy S8 has a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a much better resolution of 1440 x 2960px, a little bit bigger screen and a lot better pixel amount per inch of screen. Galaxy S8 features a bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 256 GB against 400 GB, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory.

The Galaxy S8 features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a camera with a worse resolution, and they both have a F1.7 camera aperture, the Galaxy S8 also counts with a lot higher (4K) video definition and a bigger back camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and photographs.

Galaxy J7 Star has just a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a 3300mAh battery size.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 costs a lot more money than the Galaxy J7 Star, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
