Xperia Z5 is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, getting a overall score of 77.6 against 73.1. The Xperia Z5 construction is thinner and lighter than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, although it was released many years before. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia Z5 has older 5.1 version and Samsung Galaxy J7 Star has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Sony Xperia Z5 has a bit superior processor than Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 also has an additional graphics processor and 1 GB more RAM.
