The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 is much better than the Galaxy J7 Star, with an 86.6 score against 73.1. Both phones in this review use Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has an older 10 version while Galaxy J7 Star has Android 9.0 Pie version. Although the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 is newer than the Galaxy J7 Star, it's thicker and heavier.
Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has a better display than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a higher pixel count per inch of display, a bigger screen and a much better 1080 x 2400 resolution. Xiaomi Black Shark 3 features a quite superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 also has 6 GB more RAM.
Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has a slightly bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Black Shark 3 counts with a very superior battery duration than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a 43% greater battery size.
