These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S6 Edge has the previous 5.0 version while Galaxy J7 V (2018) has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Galaxy S6 Edge design is somewhat thinner and incredibly lighter than the Galaxy J7 V (2018), although it was released 3 years before.
