Comparison review
Huawei P20 Pro has a global score of 81.4, which is just a bit better than Galaxy J8's 76.7 score. These phones include the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so both of them should give very similar operating system features. Even though Huawei P20 Pro and Galaxy J8 were released with only a couple of months difference, Huawei P20 Pro's construction is a little thinner but also just a little bit heavier.
The Huawei P20 Pro features a much better looking screen than Galaxy J8, because it has a little larger display, a greater screen density and a much better resolution of 1080 x 2240px. Huawei P20 Pro features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy J8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P20 Pro also has more RAM.
The Huawei P20 Pro features a lot better camera than Galaxy J8, because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a much higher resolution back facing camera, a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a much bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors. The Galaxy J8 counts with just a bit more storage capacity to install games and applications than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
Huawei P20 Pro has a bit superior battery lifetime than Galaxy J8, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.
