LG G8 ThinQ is just a bit better than the Galaxy J8, with an 84.3 score against 76.7. LG G8 ThinQ's construction is newer and just a bit lighter than Galaxy J8's, although it's also just a little thicker. Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but the LG G8 ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy J8 has Android 10 version, providing some extra features.
The LG G8 ThinQ features a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a lot better pixel number per inch of display, a much better 1440 x 3120px resolution and a little bit larger display. The LG G8 ThinQ has a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy J8, because it has more internal memory capacity and an external memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
LG G8 ThinQ features just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy J8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a greater amount of RAM. The Galaxy J8 and the LG G8 ThinQ feature incredibly similar battery durations. The LG G8 ThinQ takes clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy J8, because although it has a way less megapixels camera in the back, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better low light captures and video, a much higher (4K) video resolution and a bigger camera sensor which gives a higher image and video quality.
