The LG G8S ThinQ construction is newer and just a little thinner than Samsung Galaxy J8's, but it's a bit heavier. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G8S ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy J8 has Android 10 version, so it gives you a couple nice extra features and enhanced performance.
