The LG V30S ThinQ is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy J8, with a general score of 82.5 against 76.7. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but LG V30S ThinQ has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy J8 has Android 10 version, providing the user a couple nice extra features and enhanced performance. LG V30S ThinQ is a a little thinner and somewhat lighter device than Samsung Galaxy J8, even though they were released with only a couple of months difference.
The LG V30S ThinQ features a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy J8, and although they both have a same size screen, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a much better 1440 x 2880 pixels resolution and a lot greater screen pixels density. LG V30S ThinQ has a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy J8, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a higher amount of RAM.
LG V30S ThinQ counts with much more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal memory. The LG V30S ThinQ has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a smaller sensor taking worse quality photos and videos, and they both have a same resolution camera in the back, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a larger camera aperture and a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
The Galaxy J8 features a bit better battery performance than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 3500mAh battery size.
