Comparison review
LG V40 ThinQ is slightly better than the Galaxy J8, having a global score of 81.2 against 76.7. These phones come with the same Android 10 operating system, so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that. LG V40 ThinQ's body is just a little bit thinner and just a bit lighter than Galaxy J8, even when both were released only 4 months apart.
The LG V40 ThinQ has just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy J8, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the LG V40 ThinQ also has 2 GB more RAM. LG V40 ThinQ counts with a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a much better pixels count per inch in the screen, a lot better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a little bigger screen.
The LG V40 ThinQ counts with a much greater storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy J8, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB. LG V40 ThinQ shoots clearer photos and videos than Galaxy J8, because although it has a back camera with much less mega pixels, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture, a larger sensor shooting better quality videos and photographs and a lot higher (4K) video definition.
The Galaxy J8 counts with a bit better battery life than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh.
