The LG Velvet is better than the Samsung Galaxy J8, having an 87.1 score against 76.7. The LG Velvet body is newer and just a little thinner than the Samsung Galaxy J8's, but it is also just a little heavier. The LG Velvet has a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has more pixels per inch of display, a much higher 1080 x 2460 resolution and a little bit larger display.
