Motorola Edge 20 Pro is a lot better than Galaxy J8, having a general score of 92.8 against 76.7. Both phones in this comparison review include Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Edge 20 Pro has a newer 12 version while Galaxy J8 has Android 10, providing the user some extra features and some performance improvements.
