Motorola Edge 50 Ultra's construction is incredibly newer, but somewhat heavier and just a little bit thicker than the Samsung Galaxy J8. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has newer 14 version while Samsung Galaxy J8 has Android 10 version.
Samsung Galaxy J8 counts with a much more powerful processor than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, although it has 8 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Motorola Edge 50 Ultra counts with a much sharper display than Galaxy J8, because it has a greater screen pixel density, a little bit bigger display and a much better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has a greater camera than Galaxy J8, because it has a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a bigger aperture for better photos and videos in low light environments, a camera in the back with lot more mega pixels and a way bigger sensor taking way higher quality videos and photographs.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra features a very superior memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory. Motorola Edge 50 Ultra counts with improved battery duration than Galaxy J8, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
