Moto G6 Plus is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy J8, with a score of 77.5 against 76.7. The Moto G6 Plus design is just a little bit thinner and a little bit lighter than the Samsung Galaxy J8, although both of them were released with only a couple months difference. The Motorola Moto G6 Plus features a much better looking display than Galaxy J8, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixels density and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2160px.
Motorola Moto G6 Plus has a little better processing power than Galaxy J8, and although they both have 8 cores, the Motorola Moto G6 Plus also has 2 GB more RAM. The Moto G6 Plus features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a back-facing camera with much less megapixels resolution, and they both have a F1.7 diafragm aperture, the Moto G6 Plus also counts with a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Galaxy J8 counts with a bit bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Motorola Moto G6 Plus, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy J8 also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy J8 features just a little bit longer battery duration than Moto G6 Plus, because it has a 9% bigger battery size.
