Comparison review

The Moto Z3 has a global score of 77.6, which is a bit better than Galaxy J8's overall score of 76.7. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Moto Z3 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy J8 has Android 10 version. Moto Z3's design is lighter and thinner than Galaxy J8, even when both were released only 2 months apart.

The Moto Z3 counts with a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy J8, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Moto Z3 also has a way higher 1080 x 2160 resolution and more pixels per inch in the display. The Moto Z3 has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy J8. Both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM.

Moto Z3 features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for shooting images or videos in low light situations, a tinier sensor and a lot lower resolution back camera, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.

Motorola Moto Z3 counts with a much greater storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy J8, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Motorola Moto Z3 also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Galaxy J8 has just a bit longer battery life than Motorola Moto Z3, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity.
