The Galaxy J8 is just a bit better than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, getting a 76.7 score against 76.3. Even being the best in this review, it must be noted that it is also thicker and somewhat heavier. Moto Z3 Play counts with a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy J8, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Moto Z3 Play also has a better pixels density and a much better resolution of 1080 x 2160.
The Moto Z3 Play features a much better memory for apps and games than Galaxy J8, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Moto Z3 Play also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Motorola Moto Z3 Play counts with a CPU that's just as good as the CPU in Samsung Galaxy J8, they have the same RAM memory amount and 8 CPU cores.
The Galaxy J8 counts with just a little better battery performance than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh. The Motorola Moto Z3 Play features a slightly better camera than Galaxy J8, because although it has a lot less MP resolution camera, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Motorola Moto Z3 Play also counts with a larger back camera sensor and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
