Galaxy J8 has a general score of 76.7, which is just a bit better than the OnePlus 9's overall score of 76. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS, but Galaxy J8 has an older 10 version and OnePlus 9 has Android 11. The Galaxy J8 design is just a little bit lighter and just a bit thinner than OnePlus 9, even though it was released many years before.
OnePlus 9 counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy J8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 9 also has more RAM memory. OnePlus 9 has a much better screen than Galaxy J8, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a lot better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a higher count of pixels per inch in the display.
The OnePlus 9 shoots a lot better pictures and videos than Galaxy J8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for low light photos, it also counts with a lot more MP back-facing camera, a much higher video resolution and a way larger sensor shooting much higher quality videos and photographs.
Samsung Galaxy J8 counts with a little bit more memory to install games and applications than OnePlus 9, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. The OnePlus 9 features improved battery duration than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3500mAh.
