The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a global score of 81.6, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy J8's 76.7 global score. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has older 5.0 version while Samsung Galaxy J8 has Android 10. Even though Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is much older and just a bit thicker than Samsung Galaxy J8, it's design is still a little bit lighter.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy J8, because although it has 4 lesser cpu cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra GPU. The Galaxy Note 4 features a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a much higher count of pixels per inch in the display.

Galaxy J8 features a lot bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has an external memory slot that holds up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Note 4 takes a little bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a way tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low light photos and videos, and they both have a same resolution back camera, the Galaxy Note 4 also counts with a bigger back camera sensor taking higher quality videos and photographs and a much higher (4K) video resolution.

The Galaxy J8 counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has a 9% larger battery size.
