The Samsung Galaxy Note3 is a bit better than Galaxy J8, with a score of 77.7 against 76.7. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note3 has a newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy J8 has Android 10, providing a lot of extra features and performance tweaks. Despite of the fact the Samsung Galaxy Note3 is extremely older and a little thicker than the Galaxy J8, it's construction is still just a bit lighter.
Galaxy Note3 has a slightly better looking display than Galaxy J8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the display and a higher 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The Samsung Galaxy J8 has a greater memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Note3, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy J8 also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 256 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Note3 features a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy J8, although it has less cores (although faster) and less RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Note3 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy J8, because although it has a back camera with a lower resolution, a smaller sensor giving a lower image quality and a way tinier aperture which is not good for low light photography and videos, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 video definition.
The Samsung Galaxy J8 counts with a bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note3, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity against 3200mAh.
