The Galaxy Note4 has a score of 77.6, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy J8's general score of 76.7. Even though the Galaxy Note4 is way older and just a little thicker than the Samsung Galaxy J8, it's construction is still just a little lighter. The Samsung Galaxy Note4 features a sharper screen than Galaxy J8, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a lot better pixel density.

The Galaxy J8 has a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Note4, because it has 32 GB more internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 256 GB. The Galaxy Note4 counts with a little bit better processing power than Galaxy J8, although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.

The Samsung Galaxy Note4 has a little bit better camera than Galaxy J8, because although it has a lot tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light photos, and they both have a same resolution camera, the Samsung Galaxy Note4 also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 video definition and a bigger sensor which offers a better photo and video quality.
