Comparison review

Galaxy Note8 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy J8, getting a overall score of 83 against 76.7. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy J8 has Android 10. Despite being the best phone in our current comparison, we must tell that it is also an older, a little heavier and a little bit thicker phone.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy J8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a larger amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a lot better looking display than Galaxy J8, because it has a bit bigger display, a lot better quantity of pixels per inch of screen and a way higher 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution.

Samsung Galaxy J8 and Galaxy Note8 count with extremely similar storage for applications, games, photos and videos, they have exactly the same internal memory and an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Galaxy Note8 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Galaxy J8, because although it has a back-facing camera with a way worse 12 mega pixels resolution, and they both have a F1.7 aperture, the Galaxy Note8 also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality pictures and videos and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.

The Samsung Galaxy J8 counts with just a little bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 6% more battery size.
