Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than Galaxy J8, with an 85.7 score against 76.7. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but Galaxy S6 Edge has an older 5.0 version and Galaxy J8 has Android 10. Even though Galaxy S6 Edge is a lot older than Galaxy J8, it's body is somewhat thinner and lighter.
The Galaxy S6 Edge features a better processing power than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bit processing unit and an additional GPU. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with an incredibly better display than Galaxy J8, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much greater display pixels density and a way higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px.
Samsung Galaxy J8 shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors, and they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the same video frame rate and the same video quality, the Samsung Galaxy J8 also counts with a bigger aperture to take better photography in low light situations.
The Samsung Galaxy J8 features a slightly bigger storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports up to 256 GB. The Galaxy J8 has improved battery performance than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 3500mAh battery size against 2600mAh.
