The Samsung Galaxy S7 has a global score of 79.5, which is a bit better than the Galaxy J8's score of 76.7. Samsung Galaxy S7 is an much older device than the Galaxy J8, but Samsung was able to make it somewhat lighter and a bit thinner anyway. The Galaxy S7 features a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy J8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per screen inch and a much better 1440 x 2560 resolution.
Galaxy S7 features a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy J8, although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), they both have 4 GB of RAM memory. The Galaxy J8 has a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy S7, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal storage.
Galaxy S7 counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy J8, because although it has a much lower 12 megapixels resolution camera in the back, and they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Galaxy S7 also counts with a bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a way better 3840x2160 video quality.
The Samsung Galaxy J8 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has a 17 percent larger battery capacity.
