Xperia PRO-I has a general score of 96.3, which is a lot better than the Samsung Galaxy J8's 76.7 overall score. The Xperia PRO-I construction is newer, but noticeably heavier and a little bit thicker than Samsung Galaxy J8. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS, but the Xperia PRO-I has newer 11 version while Samsung Galaxy J8 has Android 10 version, so it gives you a couple additional features and some performance improvements.
Xperia PRO-I has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy J8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia PRO-I also has 8 GB more RAM memory. The Xperia PRO-I counts with a much more vibrant display than Galaxy J8, because it has way more pixels per inch of display, a lot higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a quite bigger screen.
Xperia PRO-I captures a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy J8, because although it has a smaller sensor which provides a worse photo and video quality, a tinier camera aperture and a back-facing camera with a much lower 12 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a way better video definition.
The Sony Xperia PRO-I features a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy J8, because it has 512 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 1 TB. Xperia PRO-I has longer battery lifetime than Galaxy J8, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 3500mAh.
