Galaxy J8 is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi MIX, getting a general score of 76.7 against 76.2. These phones come with Android OS, but the Galaxy J8 has 10 version and Xiaomi Mi MIX has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. The Galaxy J8 design is newer and lighter, but also a little bit thicker than the Xiaomi Mi MIX.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX counts with a more vivid screen than Galaxy J8, because it has a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2040, a greater screen density and a quite bigger display. Xiaomi Mi MIX counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy J8, although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), they both have the same RAM memory amount.
The Samsung Galaxy J8 counts with a slightly bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 256 GB. Xiaomi Mi MIX features greater battery life than Galaxy J8, because it has a 26 percent more battery capacity.
