Xiaomi Poco F5 has a general score of 78.2, which is a little bit better than Galaxy J8's 76.7 global score. Both phones we are comparing come with Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Poco F5 has the newer 13 version and Galaxy J8 has Android 10 version, so it provides some nice extra features and better performance. Even though Xiaomi Poco F5 is a bit heavier than the Galaxy J8, it's a bit thinner and also noticeably newer.
Xiaomi Poco F5 features a much better display than Galaxy J8, because it has a much better 1080 x 2400 resolution, a greater pixels count per inch of display and a quite bigger display. The Xiaomi Poco F5 has a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy J8 features a very superior processing unit than Xiaomi Poco F5, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Xiaomi Poco F5 features a really longer battery life than Galaxy J8, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3500mAh. The Xiaomi Poco F5 takes clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for shooting photographs in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
