Xiaomi Poco X2 is slightly better than the Galaxy J8, having a general score of 79.3 against 76.7. Although Xiaomi Poco X2 is newer than Galaxy J8, it's just a little bit thicker and heavier. Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Poco X2 has newer 11 version and Galaxy J8 has Android 10, counting with some nice extra features.
The Xiaomi Poco X2 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy J8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Poco X2 also has more RAM. Xiaomi Poco X2 counts with a much better display than Galaxy J8, because it has a bit larger screen, a greater display pixels density and a way better 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.
The Xiaomi Poco X2 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low light photography and video, it also counts with a lot bigger sensor providing a much better image quality, a way higher 3840x2160 video definition and a camera with much more megapixels.
Samsung Galaxy J8 counts with a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Poco X2, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy J8 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 256 GB. Xiaomi Poco X2 features better battery life than Galaxy J8, because it has a 29 percent bigger battery capacity.
